David Munro established Theologian Management Ltd. as his primary investment company. Since its inception, he has invested in businesses and land in Calgary and its surrounding area. David’s expertise has transformed numerous companies into thriving world-class businesses. In addition, he has overseen various successful residential and commercial development projects. Theologian’s success has significantly shaped Calgary’s business landscape and has served as the foundation for the Highfield Investment Group.
David expanded his portfolio of assets and had Adrian Munro join the organization as its president to oversee the company’s growth. One of the many assets acquired was a neglected cattle farm near Aldersyde Alberta. The Munro family’s passion for thoroughbred horses led the way to bring this facility back to life and established Highfield Stock Farm and transformed this cattle operation into Western Canada’s premier equine farm and produced many Alberta champions.
Adrian spearheaded the early stages of the East Balzac development and initiated the High Plains Industrial Park. His pioneering spirit shaped Highfield’s direction as an influential land developer.
Highfield expanded its portfolio by acquiring the Hotel Arts Group, venturing into the hospitality industry and commercial office leasing. Five years later, Theologian Management and Highfield Stock Farm joined forces to create Highfield Investment Group Inc., pooling their expertise and resources into a unified entity. Since 2015, Highfield has also delved into industrial vertical developments, residential greenfield developments, and residential multi-family developments. With Highfield’s extensive land holdings in prime locations, the residential projects ensure long-term growth and expansion for decades to come.
